Reader Emily Haston shared these photos of some of her vases.

She writes: "I mostly have paperwhites and amaryllis in the house for Christmas, but I took some of my white hyacinth out of the fridge to show you some of my collection. I have tried to time them so I have something blooming in January because the house looks so bare when the Christmas decorations come down. Another vase I don't know much about that I snapped the closeup of is one I found on ebay. It is smaller than most and has a swirled white pattern at the top of the glass, but the base looks like soil or dirt. It is actually one of my favorites because it reminds me of my bulbs waiting under the soil in my garden."
