October 2026 - start of the forcing season

I'm late! It's mid-October and only just starting my hyacinth forcing. Today's helpers: Socks, Victor and Quincy. Choose which hyacinth variety for each vase (noting it on my spreadsheet), fill with water to just under the bulb, put somewhere dark, leave until December. Check a few weeks before Christmas and hopefully some will be ready to come out in time for Christmas flowers.
